As we build this new website together, the next thing we need to do is get the Footer Page Menu in. (I’m using the Thesis Theme. ) Google likes a site that has pages for Contact, About, and Privacy. We will also include an Affiliate Disclaimer. On my PartTimeTrader.com site I also have an Earnings Disclaimer. For any site selling products that have the purpose of helping people earn money, that must be included. You will most likely want to consult with your attorney regarding the language.
The Page Links require a little standard HTML.
<DIV ALIGN=CENTER>
<a href=”http://internetmarketing.ricklapoint.com/contact/”>Contact</a> | <a href=”http://internetmarketing.ricklapoint.com/terms-of-use/”>Terms of Use</a> | <a href=”http://internetmarketing.ricklapoint.com/earnings-disclaimer/”>Earnings Disclaimer</a> | <a href=”http://internetmarketing.ricklapoint.com/privacy-policy/”>Privacy</a> | <a href=”http://internetmarketing.ricklapoint.com/affiliate-disclosure/”>Affiliate Disclosure</a> | <a href=”http://internetmarketing.ricklapoint.com/about/”>about</a></DIV>
Notice the spaces and | between each link.
I changed the code to reference this new site, and since here I am using the Thesis Theme, I will paste the new code into the Thesis OpenHook plugin Footer section.

Edit: Since posting this article last week, this page is being Googled by people looking for the Thesis method for doing Footers. The simple way is to download the OpenHook plugin. This will make Thesis much easier to work with for many of the things you will want to do.
People are used to seeing these types of pages at the bottom, so there is no need to place them in your main Menu up top, which is very valuable real estate on your site. Use your Menu for your most important pages.
The copyright notice goes in the Thesis OpenHook AFter Footer section.

Notice the copyright symbol © is standard HTML ” © ” And obviously you can align the text to the right or left if you wish.
That’s all for now. This site is shaping up. In another lesson down the road we will pretty up the Footer, but for now I need to create the pages that go with this Menu, then we will begin Monetizing the site by adding Affiliate ads, which by the way, will also add a little more color.
I hope that following along as I build my website has been helpful to you in building yours. Feel free to leave me a Comment to tell me what you think, ask for clarification, or offer suggestions on what I could be doing better.
